ITTM has been specifically tailored for engineering students looking to commence a career in management. By facilitating a student's understanding of management duties and procedures, the two year Master's programme will enable graduates to immediately commence work at companies operating at an international level.

Project-based learning activities, where students work on real-life projects designated by local businesses, ensure the ITTM programme has a uniquely practical relevance for students from the outset.

Practice-oriented Study
Our professors and lecturers integrate the knowledge and experience they have acquired in industry directly into their classes. Lessons are prepared and delivered according to the latest teaching methods, which includes presentations, case studies and active discussions. Excursions and guest lectures provide students with extra grounding in the specialist field of Technology Transfer and allows students to apply the knowledge acquired through in-class presentations in a working environment. In the final semester, students are to prepare a Master's thesis that will be assessed according to the academic standards of the university based on the quality requirements of the German conference of ministers of education.

A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) of at least six semesters at a university (or equivalent institution), a technical college in Germany, or an equivalent institution abroad with a minimum grade: "Satisfactory" is required for acceptance into the ITTM Master's Programme.
Good English language skills that correspond to Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are required for the course. This language proficiency can be demonstrated with the following certificates:

  • IELTS exam: minimum score of 5.5
  • TOEIC: score of 541 - 700
  • TOEFL iBT: minimum score 59
  • PTE: minimum score 49
Our register office will proof the certificate on the basic of Common European Framework of Reference. We can't accept the medium of instruction from universities or companies.

German language skills are not required for the International Technology Transfer Management Master's Programme. However, a visa and residence permit is necessary to study in Germany.
